Princeton Sailing is currently undergoing the largest fundraising effort the team has seen in decades. We can only achieve our ambitious goals through the continued generosity of our incredible alumni community. Please see below for key ways to give back to the team.
In the recent past, the team relied on annual alumni donations and undergraduate team dues to cover costs. By partnering with the team, you will help to restore Princeton’s historic role as a national contender. Several options are offered:
- Endowment: Name an endowed fund, which will contribute around $50,000 annually toward the expense of a team coach. All naming opportunities are subject to approval by the University. (Goal: $1.25M)
- Fleet: Put the name of your choice on one of the 12- ZIM 420E dinghies. ($10K)
- Regatta Sponsor: Sponsor the Spring or Fall Princeton Regatta ($2.5K)
You are invited to discuss any of the above special categories with your Alumni Board President, Anthony Pappenfus, (262) 455-1176 or pappenfus@gmail.com
Additionally, to support annual operating costs, which include extensive travel (Nationals are in New Orleans), administration, and maintenance, gifts of any amount will be greatly appreciated and helpful!
With your gift, you will become a 2022 Honorary Princeton Team Officer: Benefactor ($250K+), Admiral ($100K+), Commander ($50K+), Commodore ($25K+), Boat Sponsor ($10K+), Vice-Commodore ($5K+), Rear Commodore ($1K+), Regatta Captain ($500+), or Fleet Captain ($250+). Donors of $250 or greater will receive a team burgee.
