George E Morris Trophy (4/22-23)
Princeton Sailing competed in the George E. Morris Trophy, a grade 3 Co-Ed fleet race hosted by Boston University this past weekend. Conditions on Saturday brought an 8-16 knot North Easterly making for shifty racing conditions for Princeton Sailors Will Roberts ‘26, Calif Chen ‘23 in the A Divison, and Eddie O’Keefe ‘25 and Isabel Kim ‘24 in the B Division. This regatta was a great opportunity for Princeton Sailors to develop and see how the level of racing differs in the NEISA Conference. A weekend full of lessons taught Princeton Sailors what it means to compete against some of the best programs in the country, motivating them to keep pushing themselves in practice. Congratulations to Robert Rubin ‘23 and Calif Chen ‘23 for sailing their last set of college sailing together in the 13th and 14th races in A Division, capping off a fantastic college sailing career together.
